Sentence is a grammatical
construction that contains an intact mind. Sentence formed from one or more
clause, wherein at least one independent clause (consisting of subject and
predicate).

Subject
The subject of a sentence is the person or thing doing
the action or being described.

subject of a sentence is one of the basic parts of a sentence. The other basic part is the predicate. The predicate tells us something
about the subject (i.e., it tells us what action the subject is performing, or
it describes the subject). Every sentence must have a verb, and every verb must

A verb is a word that expresses an action or a state
of being.

3. Complement
Complement is a word or group of words that complement
the meaning of the subject, verb, or object. Thus, there are three kinds of
complement, namely: subject, verb, and object complement.
Ex 1 : my favorite Activities are reading and writing

Modifier
A modifier is a word, phrase, or clause
which functions as an adjective or an adverb to describe a word or make its
meaning more specific. Modifiers can play the roles of adjectives or adverbs.

1 : He told yesterday he changed the oil in his car.
